Where to park?
I recently told someone that one thing I miss about Canada are sidewalks. China does have them, but they also double as parking lots. With so many cars, and such little space, you park where you can, and hope you don't get a ticket. Here are two of the more creative parking choices I've seen outside the neighbourhood mall.

The Wrong Kind of Shower
After arriving in Dalian, Bei and I left our apartment in search of food. Just outside the gate to our complex are a few trees that were being watered. It was hot out, so we didn't mind running through the spray. As we headed out the gate, the guard stopped us, to tell us that it was actually pesticide being sprayed, and to hold our breath as we run through it. When we reached the bottom we bought bottles of water to wash our hands and faces with. So far we are not noticing any weird genetic mutations, but I'm still hoping for super powers to develop.
